Diabolical, my dear Watson

Hoariarty
"My first instinct was to kill you.  Quietly...discreetly.  But then, the more I learned about you, the more...curious I became.  Here, at last, seemed to be a mind that rivaled my own, something too complicated and too beautiful to destroy.  At least, without further analysis."
~Jamie Moriarty

What a wonderfully diabolical spin from the writers of "Elementary".  Not only does Sherlock Holmes reside and solve crimes in New York, but both Watson and Moriarty are women.  And they don't stop there, nope.  For those who have been following this brilliant series you know the twist to which I am referring.  And for those of you who don't, I'm not going to spoil this amazing twist for you.  In true Mean Girl fashion, I'm going to dangle the proverbial carrot, and make you find it yourself.  Suffice it to say she's a girl worthy of her mean.  Natalie Dormer as Moriarty is brilliant, beautiful, ruthless and completely warped.

The inspiration for the colorway was taken from episode 12 of Season 2: "The Diabolical Kind",  During the episode Moriarty reveals a portrait she's painted of Watson, which is a little disturbing.

Rich purples shifting from eggplant to amethyst to periwinkle grace these 560 yards of 100% superwash merino fingering weight yarn.  A black and amethyst snag-free stitch marker and a British toffee lollipop were included in the shipment.  But the finishing touch was an exclusive pattern design by Aimee Abernathy.  Come on Irene

Come on Irene is a super slouchy beret, perfect for the artist in you...even the con artist!
